The Method

Experience first.
Understand deeply.
Act differently.

The A-Venir method combines the presence of the horse, the structure of coaching and a respectful space for reflection. What happens in the experience becomes a starting point for awareness, choice and change.

A human-centered approach with the horse as a partner

Horse

At A-Venir Coaching, the horse is not used as a tool and the client is not treated as a problem to fix.

The method is based on three relationships:

  • The relationship with yourself
  • The relationship with the horse
  • The relationship with the situation you bring

The coach creates the frame, asks questions and supports integration. The horse brings immediate, non-verbal feedback. The client remains free, responsible and active in the process.

Core Principles

Presence before performance

There is no need to succeed, impress or do things perfectly. What matters is what becomes visible in the moment.

Observation before interpretation

We first observe what happens: movement, posture, rhythm, emotion, distance, reaction and intention.

Awareness before action

A change becomes more solid when it begins with a clear understanding of what is really happening.

Respect before pressure

The client's rhythm and the horse's well-being are respected throughout the process.

Why Horses Work

Why the horse helps reveal what words sometimes hide Horses communicate mainly through body language. They are sensitive to movement, distance, emotional tension, clarity and coherence. In an equicoaching session, the horse's reactions can make visible what is often invisible in everyday life: hesitation, pressure, uncertainty, lack of boundaries, avoidance, confidence, trust or calm presence. The horse does not judge and does not explain. It responds. This response becomes material for reflection and learning.

Immediate feedback

The horse reacts in the moment, without long explanations or social filters.

Non-verbal awareness

You discover how your body, energy, posture and intention influence the relationship.

Safe distance from the problem

The situation with the horse creates a metaphor that makes it easier to speak about difficult patterns.

Concrete learning

You do not only talk about change. You experience, adjust and observe what changes.

What Happens in a Session

A structured process from experience to integration

STEP 01

Clarify the intention

We begin with what brings you here: a question, a blockage, a relationship, a decision, a transition or a professional situation.

STEP 02

Create a safe frame

The coach explains the exercise, the safety rules and the role of the horse. No riding is required.

STEP 03

Enter the experience

You will interact with the horse through simple, ground-based exercises. The objective is observation, not performance. It is at this moment that the truly transformative process begins. You will feel it.

STEP 04

Observe what happened

We look at what emerged: your reactions, emotions, posture, boundaries, confidence, hesitation or clarity.

STEP 05

Connect it to your life

The coach helps you connect the experience to your personal or professional context.

STEP 06

Define the next step

You leave with a concrete insight or action to test in your daily life.

Safety & Ethics

A professional, confidential and respectful frame. Ethics are central to A-Venir Coaching. A session is not only about the client's development. It must also respect the horse, the environment and the limits of coaching.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality

What is shared during the session remains confidential. The space is built on trust and respect.

Client well-being

Client well-being

You are accompanied at your rhythm. You are never pushed into an experience that feels unsafe.

Horse welfare

Horse welfare

The horse is a partner in the process. Its comfort, availability and signals are respected.

Professional limits

Professional limits

Equicoaching is not therapy and does not replace medical or psychological care when such support is needed.

Curious to experience the method?

The best way to understand equicoaching is not only to read about it, but to experience how the horse, the coach and your own awareness meet in the same moment.
